one day we will die

we will face the fact that we can no longer do anything more

everything we do on earth is limited

we will become dust

literal dust

everything we do in this life is pointless. the impact it makes in a million years is negligible

but this actually means that we can do anything

that we are free to do whatever we want, because the impact doesn’t exist

my goal was to accomplish something important with my life. but now I can live without the worry that I am wasting my life. because we are, no matter what we do, the impact doesn’t exist, so we don’t have to worry about the outcome of our ministry

all we have to worry about is obeying the one who made it all.

why?

because who else would we go to
